Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi under the aegis of Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha in collaboration with Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata & Odisha Natya Sangh organised “National Theatre Festival” from 6th to 10th Nov.,2015 at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar. This function innaugurated by Hon’ble Minister, Tourism & Culture, Odisha Sri Ashok Chandra Panda and as Hon’ble Guests Sri Manoranjan Panigrahi, I.R.S, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Deptt. of Culture, Odisha, Smt. Trupti Das, President & Sri Dhirendranath Mallick, Secretary, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi and Sri Asim Basu,Eminent Theatre Personality, Bhubaneswar. In the closing ceremony of the function Dr. Om Prakash Bharti,Director, Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata presented as Hon’ble guest in the function. In this connection five eminent play groups outside of the state i.e. 06.11.2015: FAGUN RATER GAPPO-Rabindra Bharati University Theatre Repertory, Kolkata, 07.11.2015: BEDESIA-Nirman Kala Mancha, Bihar, 08.11.2015 : CHATUSKON- Aakar , New Delhi, 09.11.2015: TUGHLAQ - Samudaya, Karnatak and 10.11.2015 : JOYMATI - Ba, Assam had been presented their plays.

10th Toshali National Craft Mela from 15th to 27th December-2015 at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar :

The 10th Toshali National Craft Mela-2015 from 15th to 27th Dec.,2015 organised by the Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Deptt., Bhubnaeswar. On this occasion, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi entrusted to organise the cultural programme during the period at Janata Maidan, Bhubaneswar. This programme is meant to give encouragement and upliftment to the weavers of India. For this the cultural programmes are being organised to attract the public by which the weavers will get benefit by selling their matterials and will get moral support for their work. The folk & classical artists of Odisha, Mumbai Star nite like Ananya Nanda , Bhubaneswar, Sadhana Sargam, Mumbai and Krishna Behura, Mumbai etc. were participated and the singing Talents of Odisha, Odisha Tele Artistes Association also participated.

Sahityotsav on 30th Dec., 2015 at Lotus Resort, Konark

The Eastern Zonal Cultural Centre, Kolkata in association with Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi organised a Sahityotsav at Lotus Resort, Konark on 30.12.2015, in which 15 nos. of eminent poets of Odisha participated and recited their own poems. The Director, Dr. Om prakash Bharti, EZCC, Kolkata and Secretary, Sri Dhirendranath Mallick, Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi and other dignitaries were attended in this function.

Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi under the aegis of Deptt. of Culture, Govt. of Odisha in association with District Council of Culture, Phulbani organised “Sheeta Utsav” 3 day-long at Phulbani from 22nd to 24th January,2016. The festival showcases the rich cultural heritage and tradition of our music, dance and theatre. This Sheeta Utsav is organised to promote the artistes of Odisha. In this connection 22.01.2016 : Odissi Dance : Nrutyasala, Bhubaneswar, Chhau Dance : Mayur Art Centre, Bhubaneswar, Gotipua Dance : Dasabhuja Gotipua Odissi Nrutya Parisad, Raghurajpur, Puri, Bhangda, 23.01.2016 : Odissi Dance : Gunjan Dance Academy, Cuttack, Mogaltamsa : Bimala Natya Sansad, Bhadrak, Kathak , Bhangda and 24.01.2016 : Odissi Dance : Tridhara, Bhubaneswar, Sambalpuri Dance : Painir, Subarnpur, Chedheya Dance : Ranapur, Kathakali and Bhangda were performed in the festival.
